My husband has a very good job and this allows me the free time to volunteer my services at the nearby Meals on Wheels branch. It is very hard work preparing over 400 meals a day, but our reward comes when we see the happiness and the gratitude on the faces of the Senior Citizens. Please pass on our sincere thanks to all the Meals on Wheels supporters.

The twilight years. A time that, in an ideal world, should be spent surrounded by loved ones. A time that should be filled with reminiscences, delicious lunches and easy afternoons. A time that – in many people’s lives – is the first they’ve had to put their feet up, after a lifetime of work, stress and trying, against all odds, to be the best they can be.
