As the owner of my own bookkeeping service, I am able to volunteer one day a week to see to the admin work at the local Meals on Wheels kitchen. I am amazed at how this service has grown in recent years, and I am even more amazed as I see how willing the public are to support this most worthy cause. Meals on Wheels is truly a miracle of mercy.

The twilight years. A time that, in an ideal world, should be spent surrounded by loved ones. A time that should be filled with reminiscences, delicious lunches and easy afternoons. A time that – in many people’s lives – is the first they’ve had to put their feet up, after a lifetime of work, stress and trying, against all odds, to be the best they can be.
