Beth and I both felt so unfulfilled when we retired – the days dragged by and life became so meaningless. Then we decided to volunteer our services at the nearby Meals on Wheels branch - and everything changed overnight. We have never been happier. It is wonderful being able to help others in this way.

The twilight years. A time that, in an ideal world, should be spent surrounded by loved ones. A time that should be filled with reminiscences, delicious lunches and easy afternoons. A time that – in many people’s lives – is the first they’ve had to put their feet up, after a lifetime of work, stress and trying, against all odds, to be the best they can be.
