Molly’s recovery took far longer than we anticipated. Eventually, I was struggling to feed myself, to maintain the home, and to keep up the hospital visitation – and so the local Meals on Wheels team very graciously came to our aid for two months. The food was very tasty, and the compassion shown by the voluntary helpers was most heartwarming. I am very happy to report that Molly has made a full recovery. Thank you to all concerned.

The twilight years. A time that, in an ideal world, should be spent surrounded by loved ones. A time that should be filled with reminiscences, delicious lunches and easy afternoons. A time that – in many people’s lives – is the first they’ve had to put their feet up, after a lifetime of work, stress and trying, against all odds, to be the best they can be.
